Two partners, Racha Abboud, Rita Khodeir and seasoned paralegal Scott Patterson joined the team on 1 September 2021.

Racha Abboud, Partner – Commercial, is a well-regarded franchise lawyer and has worked extensively with clients based in Australia and internationally, in industries including food and retail, fitness, pharmacy, automotive and real estate. She is a member of the NSW Franchise Council of Australia Committee and was a Finalist in the Lawyers Weekly Partner of the Year for Commercial in 2020.
Rita Khodeir, Partner – Litigation and Intellectual Property, is an experienced commercial litigator and Registered Trade Marks Attorney. Rita Khodeir works with clients to protect their brand’s intangible assets and to develop and implement IP strategies for growth. Rita has extensive litigation experience and adopts a commercial approach to enable her clients to resolve their disputes in a quick and cost-effective manner. In 2021 she was named as a Notable Practitioner by leading international IP publication, Managing IP.
Scott Patterson – Paralegal, has significant experience in commercial and franchising law. Having worked with both start-up and established networks, Scott has a thorough understanding of the industry and the clients. His approach to work is centred around building long term relationships with clients and is an integral member of the commercial franchising practice.
